Crochet Basket Weave Stitch Pattern

This pattern also called basketweave. This is dense pattern, and it's made with textural or convex stitches, namely the front post double crochet and the back post double crochet. The rapport of the pattern in width - 6 stitches, in horizontal - 4 rows. For a sample make chain stitches a multiple of 6, plus 2 chains for the symmetry of the pattern, plus 3 turning chains.

1 row: first double crochet in 4th chain from hook, then make double crochet in each chain till end row;

2 row: 3 turning chains, 2 front post double crochet, * 2 back post double crochet, 3 front post double crochet *, 3 back post double crochet, 2 front post double crochet, 1 half double crochet in turning chain of previous row;

3 row: 3 turning chains, 2 back post double crochet, 3 front post double crochet, * 3 back post double crochet, 3 front post double crochet *, 2 back post double crochet, 1 half double crochet in turning chain of previous row;

4 row: crochet same as 3rd row;

5 row: crochet same as 2nd row.

Then the pattern repeats from 2nd row.
