Crochet Stitch Pattern "Contrast Waves"
In this pattern we use the crossed double crochet: read more about How to crochet a Crossed Double Crochet. For an example make chain stitches a multiple of 12, plus 1 chain.
1 row (blue): the first single crochet make in 3rd chain from hook, then continue make single crochet stitches till the end of row;
2 row (blue): 3 turning chains, 1 crossed double crochet, 6 single crochet, * 3 crossed double crochet, 6 single crochet *, 1 crossed double crochet, 1 double crochet in last chain of previous row;
3 row (white): slip stitch in double crochet of previous row, 1 turning chain, then single crochet stitches till the end of row;
4 row (white): 1 turning chain, then single crochet stitches till the end of row (the last single crochet in chain of previous row);
5 row (gray): 1 slip stitch in first single crochet of previous row, 1 turning chain, 2 single crochet, * 3 crossed double crochet, 6 single crochet *, 3 crossed double crochet, 3 single crochet (the last single crochet in chain of previous row);
6 row (gray): 1 turning chain, 2 single crochet, 3 crossed double crochet, * 6 single crochet, 3 crossed double crochet *, 3 single crochet;
7 row (white): crochet same as 3rd row;
8 row (white): crochet same as 4th row;
9 row (blue): 3 turning chains, 1 crossed double crochet, * 6 single crochet, 3 crossed double crochet *, 6 single crochet, 1 crossed double crochet, 1 double crochet in chain of previous row.
This pattern repeats from 2nd to 9th row.
