Lacy Crochet Stitch Pattern 1

This pattern is easier to do than to write.

For our example make chain stitches a multiple of 7, plus 3 chains for the formation of the edge (a turning chain).

1 row: start crocheting in 4th chain from the hook, * 5 single crochet in each loop of chain, 2 chains, skip 2 chains *, 5 single crochet, 1 chain, skip 1 chain, 1 single crochet;

2 row: 2 turning chains, 1 double crochet in space of chain, 3 single crochet in 2nd, 3rd and 4th loop of five stitches of the previous row, * 1 chain, 1 double crochet, 1 chain, 1 double crochet, 1 chain, 3 single crochet in 2nd, 3rd and 4th loop of five stitches of the previous row *, 1 chain, 1 double crochet in the top chain of the turning chains;

3 row: 2 turning chains, 2 double crochet in same loop, * 1 chain, 1 single crochet in the middle loop of three stitches of the previous row, 1 chain, 5 double crochet in space of chain between two double crochet stitches of the previous row *, 3 double crochet in space of chain;

4 row: 2 turning chains, 3 single crochet in loops of three double crochet of the previous row, * 2 chains, 5 single crochet in loops of five double crochet stitches of the previous row *, 2 chains, 2 single crochet in loops of two double crochet stitches of the previous row;

5 row: 2 turning chains, * 1 chain, 1 double crochet, 1 chain, 1 double crochet, 1 chain, 3 single crochet in 2nd, 3rd and 4th loop of five stitches of the previous row *, 1 chain, 1 double crochet, 1 chain, 1 double crochet, 1 chain, 2 single crochet in loops of two last single crochet stitches of the previous row;

6 row: 2 turning chains, 1 single crochet in loop of the first stitch of the previous row, 1 chain, 5 double crochet in space of chain between two double crochet stitches of the previous row, * 1 chain, 1 single crochet in the middle loop of three stitches of the previous row, 1 chain,  5 double crochet in space of chain between two double crochet stitches of the previous row *, 1 double crochet in loop of the last stitch of the previous row;

7 row: 2 turning chains, 5 single crochet in loops of five double crochet stitches of the previous row, 2 chains *, 5 single crochet in loops of five double crochet stitches of the previous row, 1 chain, 1 single crochet in the top chain of the turning chains of the previous row.

Then the pattern repeats from the second row.
