The beauty of handpainted yarn

I knitted this shawl using two skeins of Claudia Handpainted Linen yarn (& Asia crocheted the trim.) I began it with three stitches and increased one stitch at the beginning of every row until I was happy with the length. Then I increased one stitch on each side for about 10 rows. This is a great project for beginners, as it's all in garter stitch.
